This policy is established to create a safe and comfortable environment for all clients and provider during sugaring hair removal and skincare sessions. It is the policy of Nuebeauty sugaring&skincare to prohibit any form of sexual harassment, as defined and prohibited by law.
Definition of Sexual Harassment: Sexual harassment is any unwelcome behavior of a sexual nature that creates a hostile, intimidating, or offensive environment. This includes, but is not limited to, unwanted advances, comments or any other verbal or physical conduct of a sexual nature.
Prohibited Conduct: All forms of sexual harassment, whether verbal, non-verbal, or physical, are strictly prohibited. This includes:
- Inappropriate comments of a sexual nature.
- Unwanted advances, propositions for sexual favors.
- Displaying or sharing sexually explicit materials.
- Inappropriate touching or physical contact.
- Any behavior that creates a hostile or intimidating environment.
Sexual misconduct is absolutely forbidden. Clients understand that any illicit or sexually suggestive remarks comments, advances or gestures will result in the immediate termination of the session. The hair removal&skincare session will be terminated immediately; should a client make any sexual advances. Even questionable sexual discussion, can be cause for termination as per the provider discretion. Skincare is NO WAY SEXUAL. Under NO CIRCUMSTANCES do we perform any kind of service even remotely associated with sexual service. This is a ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY. Please RESPECT the professional boundaries that exist between provider and client. Professional treatment is an absolute must. Inappropriate or Immoral behavior will not be tolerated. A session will not be conducted if the client is intoxicated, under the influence of drugs or threatening the safety of the provider, the safety of others in the studio space, or becomes a danger to themselves. Intimidating verbal harassment will not be tolerated as the provider cannot maintain proper therapeutic Boundaries or provide effective unbiased treatment under threat of retaliation. If any of these behaviors take place within studio setting, the provider has the right to stop treatment and ask the client to leave the premise.
Refusal can result in reporting to the police for trespassing. The client (s) will be held accountable for full payment of their session booked, in order to compensate for the time which was held exclusively on their behalf, as per the treating provider discretion.

INTAKE FORM REQUIREMENTS
At Nuebeauty sugaring&skincare, the intake form is a vital part of providing you with a safe, personalized, and effective service experience. It is required that all clients complete the intake form at least 12 hours prior to their appointment. This allows adequate time to review your health history, address any contraindications, and prepare for your session. If you are unable to meet this deadline, you must complete the form before start your session or your appointment may be canceled.

Non-Completion Policy
Failure to submit the form within the required timeframe can result in automatic cancellation of your appointment. Unlike large wellness chains, Nuebeauty sugaring&skincare is independently run, and preparation is key to maintaining high-quality service. Late cancellations also disrupt the schedule for other clients who are eager to prioritize their wellness.
Contraindications
Certain conditions may prevent you from receiving a service or require special accommodations. These must be identified before your session begins to avoid harm. Examples include but are not limited to:
- Recent surgeries
- Skin infections or wounds
- Cardiovascular conditions
Steps to Complete Your Form
- Check Your Email: Look for an email titled “Consent Form” after booking. If you don’t see it, check your spam folder.
- Fill It Out Thoroughly: Include your full legal name and detailed health history. Incomplete forms may delay the process or result in cancellation.
- Submit on Time: Ensure the form is submitted at least few hours before your session.

CANCELLATION POLICY, ILLNESS & NO-SHOW
We're dedicated to providing you with the best possible experience during your appointment at Nuebeauty sugaring&skincare. To ensure we can accommodate all our valued clients and make the most of our time, we have a policy in place for cancellations and no-shows.
Respecting Your Appointment:
Your appointment time is reserved exclusively for you. A late cancellation or a missed visit means that another client who could have benefited from our services may have missed the opportunity.
Cancellations and Changes:
If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, we kindly ask for a minimum of 12 hours' notice. This allows us to offer your time slot to another client who may be in need.
Fees for Late Cancellations:
Clients who provide less than 12 hours' notice for a cancellation may incur charge 30% of your scheduled service- cancellation fee. Additionally, a security deposit or the full fee may be forfeited, depending on the circumstances.
Illness Policy
If you are feeling unwell, especially with symptoms of airborne illnesses such as RSV, the flu, or other contagious conditions, please notify us as soon as possible, even if you are outside the 12- or 24-hour cancellation window. We encourage clients to reschedule their appointments for a time when they are feeling better to ensure the health and safety of everyone. Nuebeauty Sugaring&Skincare operates within a shared space, and it is our priority to maintain a safe environment for all clients and providers.

No-Show Policy:
For clients who miss their scheduled appointment without prior notice, we have a no-show policy in place. The 50% of your scheduled service fee will be charged.

Late Arrival Policy

- For services over 30 minutes, arriving more than 10 minutes late may require rescheduling.

Though they may sound similar, sugaring and waxing are different. The main distinction is the direction the hair is pulled.
With waxing, the wax in apply the same direction as hair growth and remove the wax in the opposite direction. This method can cause hair follicles to break in half, as you’re pulling against the direction of hair follicles.
When it comes to sugaring, we applying the mixture in the opposite direction and then pulling hair in the direction it grows.
Waxing is often done in one treatment, while sugaring may take several passes. Sugaring doesn’t remove as many additional skin cells since the cooled mixture doesn’t adhere to your skin. Wax does stick to your skin, so when it’s pulled off, it can cause irritation. Some say that sugaring is less painful than waxing, but it’s all based on the individual and their pain tolerance.

The paste used for sugaring is made with sugar, lemon juice and water. It’s warmed up to your body’s temperature before being applied.
After cleaning your skin, a layer of paste is applied in the opposite direction that your hair grows. Then, in quick, short flicking motions, the sugar paste is removed, pulling hair in the direction it grows.
As the paste is sticky, it adheres to your body’s hair and pulls it out as it’s removed.
The length of each appointment varies depending on the area and extent of hair being treated.
With sugaring, your hair may grow back softer and thinner than before, especially the more you do it.
It may also cause less irritation than waxing.
And the application and clean-up of sugaring is an easy process, as the paste is water-based. It’ll easily wash out of clothes, and if any residue is left over on your skin, you can use water to remove it.
Before your appointment, you want to make sure your hair is long enough for the product to stick to it — usually at least a few millimeters, 1/8 inch.
You also want to stop all products that can be irritating or may make the cells easier to remove like the retinoids.
Anyone who takes isotretinoin (a medication used to treat severe cystic acne) shouldn’t undergo sugaring for at least six months after finishing the medication.
Additionally, any inflamed or infected skin shouldn’t be treated and any irritating topicals like tretinoin (a medication used to treat acne and other skin conditions) should be stopped at least a few days before treatment, Avoid sun exposure both before and after treatment, and don’t get treated if you’re sunburned or the skin is irritated or infected.
You may be able to use a topical numbing cream to help with the discomfort, but ask esthetician what they recommend, as some creams can block the sugaring product from sticking to the hair.
Also recommends taking ibuprofen or acetaminophen an hour before treatment and for any discomfort after treatment.
OK, you’ve tried sugaring for the first time. Now, what do you do?
- Watch out for ingrown hairs. If you have coarse curly hair, you’re at a higher risk for ingrowni hair. And if you’ve treated areas of skin that are considered skin folds — where the hairs exit the follicle in all directions — then the risk of ingrown hairs is higher. An ingrown hair is a strand of hair that grows back into your skin instead of out. If you shave often, you’re more likely to have ingrown hairs.

To remove an ingrown hair, gently exfoliate your skin. Exfoliating your skin removes a dead layer of skin cells and helps release ingrown hairs. Use warm — not hot — water and small, circular motions to wash your affected areas with a washcloth, exfoliating brush or exfoliating gel or scrub 2-3 times in week.
To prevent scarring or infection, don’t pick at, scratch or pop your ingrown hairs.
